Philippine Mission - it was very successful

PHILIPPINE MISSION - IT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL
I would like to thank the Divine Will for the success of the Philippine mission we had, especially to those who had organized and participated for the fulfillment of the said mission: accommodating the visit of Fr. Bobby and his group: “La mia gioia singing group” in a very nice way. In behalf of Adriana, Luana and Giuseppe who were with me in the Philippine mission, they are all grateful to our Filipino brethren who showed to us their unconditional hospitality, generosity and kindness.

We were so glad and so satisfied for the excellent accommodation conceded to us during our stay in the Philippines. Thank you so much for all of you, sure to this, that we will not forget you because you are a part of our family as children of the Divine Will.

A special thanks also for the family of Ferdy and Menchite Ordoveza of Magallanes village, who lead the group for its itinerary destination and accommodation. The mission in the Philippines would be impossible without the factual idea of Sis Minchet and her family, with the support of the Assumption prayer of Makati City, headed by Frieda and Menchit together. They were the mastermind who had planned for our our itinerary activities.

The success of it all, it behooves on the “Fiat” of each organizer who have trusted to the Divine Providence to work on, so that the mission visit in the Philippines would be a successful one. Really the Divine is so grateful to all of us, praise the Lord!

I would like to mention the names of those who have answered: “Yes” to our visit in the Philippines, we would like to ebrace each one of you. First and foremost, the family of Ferdy and Menchite who had organized our itinerary including Menchites’ friends: Freida, Lizette, Rosa, Rona, Doc. Palanca and his family, Eula, The Nordy’s family of Makati, Fr. Asoy, Fr. Paul, Fr. JP, Fr. Kit, Bishop Cabrera, Therese, Roy and his wife, Vichy and his family in Corinthian Village, the Tiangcos’ family of Forbes park, who received us into their magnificent home, the hospitaly of Tita Monina with Jenny Icasas in their homes and anybody else. The community of Alliance of two hearts in Calaun, and the LCDW of Manila, a lot of people who were with us. We would like to thank and we are so grateful also to all the maids, the boys and the drivers who have contributed their toil to make our visit so wonderful.

Our itinerary had started on the 4th of April 2018 with the reception (salubong) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport: a surprise done by: Menchite and Jenny, putting to our necks a beautiful garland, as a sign of homage and hospitality to the new visitors: it is a traditional practices of the Filipinos as a form of expression of gratitude, joy and acceptance. It was Menchite and Jenny’s initiative who received us by that manner: wonderful for all the Italian visitors who were in the Philippines for the first time.

Only in the Divine Will, these acts are possible to happen. Thanks for your joyous reception of our visit our beloved sisters in Christ: Nenchit and Jenny. Our itinerary visit in the Philippines has been organized very well. The purpose of visit is above all, to testify our faith and love to Christ: living joyfully with other brethren who knows the Gift of living in the Divine Will.

Our first destination visit has started in my native land Mindanao, particularly to see my place Polomolok South Cotabato. As we arrived at General Santos Airport, we proceed right away to the Bishop’s palace at Marbel Koronald for a courtesy visit to him, then we stayed in Polomolok Parish lay formation house for three days, we had also a small concert for my relatives and frieds together.

The following days, we had visited the Trappistine Monastery of Landan where the monks are residing, we met the Italian superior Sister Giovanna, and after that short visit with the sister of the Monastery, we had proceed to Kalsangi Club house for our lunch. The Kalsangi club house is the village where the American people are residing, of course in a green and luxurious village.

After our healing concert in the parish of Polomolok on the 6th of April was through, we left the town to visit another town place called: Davao and Tagum City. In Davao City we had just our short visit to see the place and moved to to refersh our body at the Paradise Island beach resort, there, we have tasted the gourmet, the beverages and glance the wonder of the beaches of Samal Island located in Davao City.

After the three days stay in Davao City, we had schelued to proceed to Bacolod City: another island of Central Visayan region, we passe the known city of Cebu. We stayed there just half day, meanwhile, that afternoon, we were invited by the Divine Will Association: Sister Nancy and Tonette to have a cenacle of the Divine Will group, I conducted the prayer cenacle, the cathechism and sang few songs instead of going around to tour the City, we preferred to be with them than to do a short tour visit. Many soul were enlightened and reinforced by the Holy Spirit: they remained happy and strenghtened by our testimony. They had promised to us that they will invite us sooner when we came back to Philippines.

Our itinerary in Cebu had been accomplished, we proceed to Bacolod City a famous city known as the “sugar capital” of the Philippines: the place produces red sugar made up of the sugar cane. The means of living of the people aside from fishing and farming, they produce the sugar and be exported overseas. In Bacolod, we met Doc. Palanca and his family with Eula, a friends Rosan, Lizette, Menchite, Marily and his family together, then Fr. Asoy, Fr. JP, Fr. Paul and so many other special friends that they received us as a real friend.

We been to see the drug rehab centers and saw some patients, at that place, we evangelized them with our songs in order to edify the community. The community of the Divine Will in Bacolod was so eager to hear from us, especially from our Italian visitors who sang even in Ilongo songs version. After a couple of days, our journey to Bacolod has ended, and it was so successful; then we proceed to Manila for the Holy Mass in the St. Alphonsus M. Liguori parish for another few days stay.

We stayed in the Tiangcos’ residence at Forbes park of Makati, we stayed there for four days, we were treated by them excellently by the resident owner: I had the impression that thye treated as a king and queens of the house for the best services they rendered to us: comforts and delights showed; we were surrounded by the numerous maids and boys: as if we were the masters of the house.  We acknowledge the very excellent traitment you've done for us, thanks for your kindness. It seems that we had anticipated the wellness of being traited in heaven by the Angels of God, thank you.

The life of living in Metro Manila shows difference, the Italian visitors have noticed the difference compare to the life of the province:  the lifestyle the culture, the behavior of the people is abysal. My Italian visitors was so impressed not by the luxurious kind of life some brothers live, but the experienced they had with the Missionary of the Poor was edifying. We were accompanied by Sister Rona to the place, the experience was enriching and very emotional especially for the Italians. They felt the joy of serving, it was the encounter with the suffering Jesus in the handicapped children.

Our stay in Manila was so interesting, we been to different villages of Manila like Urdaneta, Assumption, Corinthians, we celebrated Mass at Landmark mall and we visited Quezon City particularly in the Corinthian village. We shared also our joy threre together with others in living the Divine Will. Some people saw the healing power of God for them.

Then we stayed at the Holiday Inn for a couple of days before leaving Manila back to Italy, it was our first experience to sleep at the 21th floor hang on the air, seemed we were sleeping on the cloud. For 20 days tour in the Philippines, my Italian visitors was edified and thankful to meet different people here in the Philippines: they will never forget the experieced they had.

Our itinerary visit to the Philippines had ended, on the 22th of April we been to an Italian restaurant of Makati City meeting Menchit's friends: Nordy together with his wife and Eula, made it as a despidida party (farewell party). Then the home sweet home at the Jenny’s house, we stayed there prior to our departure to Italy, at the Jenny's house, we prepared our travel back home to Italy.

For almost 20 days stay in the Philippines, it seems that the time has passed by instantly because it was very satisfying and full of excitement. Even if it was just 20 days, however, it was lived intensely full or enriching moment, endowed with spiritual experiences, for each one of us, we are aware that every act done in the Divine Will has an eternal value. It was not just 20 days expend for human’s will sake, but it was all given for the Lord. Such experienced was permeated and saturated wtih the Divine Will’s beauty and wonders.

As what you have seen on the itinerary guide of our visit in the Philippines, it was shor but so intense of experience because we did not do one thing but a lot. Every single moment has its value, every moment has wonder; every second is a time of grace: there were lot of opportunities of joy in the heart of each one of us. In living in the Divine Will is constantly full of gladness in Christ, because every single experience as if it's heaven. lived concrete and simply.

The kingdom of God is here now: as Jesus have said in the Gospel and it was confirmed by the Book of Heaven. As it is defined by St. Paul, the kingdom o heaven is not the question of food, but it is the question of righteousness, peace and love in the Holy Spirit. Living in the Divine Will is the life of holiness, not because we are perfect as God without blemish.

We live the sense of holiness because God has offered to us his grace for Free: “gratis”, God didn't even pretend to have any return from his part, rather than to love. God wants from us to be holy as His, not just to be good and perfect, -morally speaking, but in the fullness of his grace only. Holiness depends on God alone, it’s his grace that make us holy in every act we do. It is in his Will, that we may realize our vocation to be holy in his eyes.

The seed had been sow in the Philippines, it has planted by the Holy Spirit and not it is growing silently. Let the Holy Spirit reaps the fruit in a real time a he established by God for the next generation of our time. We are eager to sow again and again with our living testimony, so intense as before ASAP. We are so glad to look forward for the next itinerary visit soon, as God allows. God bless you in the Divine Will.

Once again thank you Menchite, Ferdy, Jenny, Tita Monina and to all the our entourage who had ospitalized us in their beautifu traitment. A million thanks to Ferdy, Menchit, Jenny and other friends.
